So according to the title of this post, you might be wondering where the glass comes in? Well upon a quick first glance, I thought, well that's a nice standard looking book shelf, nothing out of the ordinary - that is until I took a closer look and then I realized - genius! Each shelf is encased by a glass pocket door which lifts up and tucks unto the frame like a garage door. I haven't seen a bookcase like this in a VERY long time! Beautiful!
This is a great look, and very reasonably priced, considering. It's so tough to keep dust out of books - and since we've learned a lot in the last few years about how bad dust can be for us (particularly those with asthma) it would be nice to see more glass door options from the furniture industry!
I love the book shelves with glass. It looks clean and protects your treasured books.
