An equestrian inspired braid goes a long way with me! A classic pattern - it evokes a stately air with a wonderfully rich texture.

I've been shopping at Zgallerie for years now and I must say they've really covered the market on home furnishings from furniture to accessories. With an eclectic, well-curated selection I can count on them to always have a bevy of interesting goods to catch my fancy. If you're looking for it, they probably have it. With a website that is literally overflowing with design inspiration, it would be a crime not to take a look!

It certainly doesn't look like Ikat is going anywhere. Over the past few seasons, from fashion to home decor, Ikat has ruled the shops and runways and for good reason. Its patterns and colors are grounded in tradition yet exude a wonderfully fresh appeal consistent with current trends - Bravo!

Live like Royalty with these Florentine goblets made of real gold. Inspired by vessels of the 15th century, I'm pretty sure you'll be the only one of all your friends to have a set like these! (bragging rights included - wink)

A dear friend of mine Tawny Ong had the privilege this past week of catering the desserts at Gracie Mansion for Mayor Bloomberg's Lawn Party. Mini cupcakes in a variety of scrumptious flavors and banana pudding too sinful to describe were bigger hits then the food itself! If you live in the New York tri-state area - NY, Connecticut and New Jersey, then you're in luck because she delivers to your front door for any size party or event. Just take a look at her website and extensive menu. Once you try her goods, you'll be a repeat offender for life!

Currently on sale at PotteryBarn.com, this charming ceramic set will bring warmth to any traditional table setting. What I love most is the juxtaposition of the glazed white ceramic with the textured rattan handles. French country silhouettes aged to perfection, lends the perfect look of Provence that has been admired for centuries!

Who wants to use their best China when throwing a backyard barbecue or poolside party? So when I saw these monogrammed melamine plates on Horchow.com, I immediately thought - summertime outdoor entertaining! Throwing parties are stressful enough without worrying if the kids are going to drop their plates walking from the buffet line to the table. But with these bold designs, you don't need to sacrifice the style that your friends have come to know of you! Likewise, if you're the perpetual party "guest," wouldn't they make the perfect hostess gift - just add their initials and voila, a chic personalized gift that will keep you on the guest list for parties to come!

As most of you know I love anything equestrian, so you can imagine how excited I was to receive horse coasters for Christmas. My friend told me about the website and well, as you can see I went to town picking my faves - I could have kept going! BTW, how fabulous are the door knockers!?

When I think of Ralph Lauren Home the word, "Luxury" definitely comes to mind, but with that comes a hefty price tag - at least for me. So with these classic pieces on sale, even I can own a bit of luxury. Check out my faves!
